Payal’s spring-summer clothes are an ode to the enchanting Gulmarg valley in Kashmir, the beauty of which is the perfect expression of heaven on earth. The designer is intrigued by the contradiction of unachieved freedom in an otherwise exhilarating gift of nature.

Monochromatic colour palette of stone and black in silk, chanderi, organza and tulle are used in a very classy attempt to combine fresh and contemporary silhouettes. Among her line-up, the half and half, high-low kurtas and cholis were an instant hit, worn with embroidered silk pants and dhoti skirts. Stone dupion silk and organza tunics are a royal respite for the summers just like the low crotch pants. Embroidered yolk and cuffs, and softnet churidars bring a sensual party-touch to all her clothes. Finally, the embroidered lehenga and choli in black dupion silk was just the perfect end to the collection.
