Virtues presented a collection which was a blend of traditional Madhubani art from ancient India and Shashiko stitching from Japan, with a touch of Kutchi embroidery and mirror work. The designers chose silhouettes which are essentially relaxed and comfort oriented such as the front open gown dress over harem pants. The colours majorly used are ivory, red and brown on fabrics like tusser cottons, linens and chanderi. Attention to details comes out in the form of pleated and feather stitched jackets, asymmetric tunic set in shashiko and sequins and quilted jackets with zardosi details. Narrow pants, trousers accompanied by fool moon glasses add a geek-chic touch to the very traditionally styled clothes.
